About Emily

My Musical Journey and Discovery

Emily’s love for music began early in grade school. While taking piano lessons and performing in various choirs she also realized she has a strong interest in learning to play the harp. Emily became classically trained in vocal performance. She studied harp with private lessons and continued on at Susquehanna University where she earned her BA in Music. Emily went on to get her Masters Degree in teaching from Loyola University. Emily spent a few years teaching general music in the Carroll County Public School system but has decided to pursue her own career of teaching vocal lessons and performing for a variety of events. Emily has a passion for bringing joy through music whether it be for special occasions or a simple get together.
